Four County EMC has chosen two students to represent our cooperative on the June 15-21 tour, which will give them the chance to participate in leadership training, meet with elected officials, network with their peers and explore Washington, D.C.
This year’s Youth Tourist are Megan Marguccio, a junior at Topsail High School in Pender County and Brice Miller a junior at Pender High School.
The annual Youth Tour provides outstanding students a unique opportunity to experience Washington, D.C. and learn first-hand about the legislative process, civic engagement and electric cooperatives. This program plays a vital part in our commitment to supporting education and strengthening our communities by allowing us to invest in the future of our local youth.
Four County Electric serves over 32,500 members within Bladen, Duplin, Pender, Sampson, Columbus and Onslow counties.
